I spent a week with Sarah at her yoga and meditation retreat at Dalaman, Turkey. The
decision to join her retreat was made at the last minute and I had no idea what to
expect – but I hoped for a joyful and restful yoga retreat in a beautiful location. This
was all that and so much more. Sarah’s teaching is gentle, supportive, meditative and
definitely full of joy. Two hours of morning yoga vanished in what seems minutes and
evening meditation/yoga sessions were restorative and meaningful. I learned what
seemed an enormous amount (including how to make mala beads) in a very short time
and felt refreshed, restored and very much at peace by the end of the week. It is not
just the practice; it is the opportunity to soak up Sarah’s gentle wisdom and her joie de
vivre that makes the week so special. And no mention yet of the sun, the views, the
amazing location and the unbelievable food. I will definitely be going back.
